Get set for the NZ Boat, Fish & Dive Expo 2025
If you love being on the water, there’s only one place to be this spring: the New Zealand Boat, Fish & Dive Expo at Mystery Creek in Hamilton. Running Saturday 30 August (9 am–5 pm) and Sunday 31 August (9 am–4 pm), it’s a must-visit for boaties, fishers, and divers alike.
With more than 150 exhibitors and over 14,000m² of displays, the Expo is packed with the latest boats, marine gear, fishing tackle, and diving equipment. Big names like Stabicraft, Surtees, Haines Hunter, Extreme Boats, Yamaha, Mercury, Garmin, Shimano, and DAIWA will all be on show, alongside a great line-up of new innovations and Kiwi boatbuilders.
It’s not just about the gear — the event has something for everyone. Expect cooking demos, seafood tastings, NZ-made gin and whisky, art, clothing, and a kids’ fishing and diving photo competition. There’s even a new seafood café and bar to refuel between exploring.
Tickets are $25 for adults (kids under 14 go free), and every ticket holder goes in the draw to win a $15,000 DAIWA fishing package. The Expo also supports Wish4Fish, NZ Coastguard, and LegaSea, so by attending, you’re helping to give back to our marine community.
Whether you’re hunting for your next boat, upgrading your tackle, or just keen for a fun family day out, the NZ Boat, Fish & Dive Expo is the place to be.
